Translation: "Antique silver lodderein box dated 1852 from the Netherlands"

  

This box was intended to contain "L'eau de la Reine," a kind of perfume. Elaborate shape, decoration of grapevines and blank cartouches. Hallmarks: walking lion 2nd title (833/1000), control bureau, letter S (1852) for the date, Master's mark (partially legible).

Dimensions: 36 x 26 x 39 (height) mm. Slight marks and deformations from use. This superb collectible piece is in good overall condition.
