Antique hand mirror in solid silver, dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The mirror features a finely beaded circular frame and a richly decorated handle with classical motifs (dog heads / foliage), typical of bourgeois vanity items from this period. The mount is heavy and thick, with traditional construction (mirror setting).
A very worn antique hallmark is visible on the inner edge of the frame (see photo), consistent with solid silver manufacturing. Mirror diameter: 8.5 cm. Antique mirror with foxing, age spots, and a small edge chip. Silver with natural patina, not over-polished.
