Magnificent antique box from the 19th century with a boiled egg kit. The egg cup and spoon are made of 950/1000 solid silver.

They bear Minerve hallmarks and silversmith's hallmarks by Edouard Ernie, who was active in 1882. The set is of superb quality, both in terms of the material used and the splendid chiseled and partially polished decor. The egg cup has a height of 7.5 cm and an opening diameter of 4.3 cm, while the spoon measures 11.7 cm in length. The combined weight of the two solid silver pieces is 56.54 grams. The box is also of very good quality, although it does show some minor wear on the exterior. Its dimensions are 15.5 x 11.5 x 6.7 cm.
