Ancient Large Afghan Ring, 19th-20th Century, Solid Silver, Agate, Bird Intaglio

  

Ancient and authentic large Afghan ring from the late 19th to early 20th century in solid silver. It is adorned with a large oval Agate stone with an intaglio depicting a bird. The setting on which the agate rests is composed of two levels. The first has a decoration in gilded brass and the second a small thread in solid silver. The ring's shoulders are adorned with a brass (gilded) motif.
