A beautiful Moroccan khamsa in silver. Shaped like a door entrance, it symbolizes spiritual openness; this talisman was either worn as a pendant or hung at the entrance of homes to ward off evil.
The shape of the hand is distinct, with the bottom of the object finishing in five fingers. Three stars, affixed from the back, adorn the center and are surrounded by floral patterns. It has a beautiful patina of age. A good piece for an ethnological collection. Dimensions 16cm x 8cm Weight 68g.
