Old silver loderein box dated 1852 Holland

  

This box was intended to contain "The Queen's Water", a kind of perfume water. Wavy shape, decor of vines and blank cartouches.

Hallmarks: lion passant 2nd title (833/1000), control office, letter date S (1852), Master's mark (barely legible). Dimensions: 36 x 26 x 39 (height) mm. Slight marks and deformations from use. This superb collectible item is in overall good condition. Thank you for your visit.
