Ancient and authentic Roman Ring, 1st-3rd century AD, in solid silver. It is adorned with an oval green Agate stone with an engraving representing a vase framed by 2 dolphins, magnificent! The shoulders of the ring, which are an extension of the bezel, are flat and decorated with 2 V-shaped grooves. On the edge of the shoulders, you can still see engravings: 4 "commas" and 10 grooves.

In the continuation of the wide shoulders, the ring narrows. Green Agate is a stone that has been accompanying civilizations since antiquity.

It was notably used by the Egyptians or the Romans who used it extensively to create jewelry (rings and earrings in particular), and decorative objects. Condition: Very good, can be worn, cleaned by a professional.
