Antique silver card holder China, 19th century signed Cumshing Cant

  

The relief decoration depicts traditional Chinese scenes with characters, birds, and bamboo. Solid silver, with hallmarks visible inside the lid. A piece of Chinese export silver craftsmanship ("China Trade Silver").

Very good condition, with the original patina preserved. A rare collector's item, typical of the exchanges between China and Europe in the 19th century.
