Antique double cigar case in solid silver A&J Zimmerman Birmingham

  
Very beautiful antique double cigar/cigarillo case in solid sterling silver, made by A & J Zimmerman Ltd in Birmingham, England. The piece bears several British hallmarks on the inside, as well as the A&J. maker’s mark, clearly visible in the photos. An unusually shaped double model, designed to hold two cigars or cigarillos. The interior still retains its original gilding, along with a textile retaining strap. The case has been gently cleaned and now has a very attractive exterior shine. Overall good condition for its age, with a few fine scratches and minor signs of use, which are normal for an antique piece.
