Luxurious Ancient Notebook Noble Matter & Silver XIX Antique Notebook

Luxurious book with beautiful binding including dishes of noble natural matter and silver ornaments. French work of the 19th century. The recto dish is particularly worked with decoration of a crown of oval flowers carved in a material identical to the dishes, and silver ornaments: nets inlaid around and in the center, floral motifs applied to the corners, central cartridge applied and engraved initials "md" with silver punch guarantee (boiler hue) and master diamond. Closing by a finely chiseled silver pencil with silver guarantee punch (boiler hure) and master diamond. Inside, lined with silk reps: a bellow compartment and a collection of free paper sheets with golden slices.

Dimensions: 10,2 x 6,7 cm. Some small signs of wear and tear and time. A superb collection piece in very good general condition. Thank you for your visit.
