Antique Solid Silver Tastevin, Dessendre-Duvernois, 18th–19th Century

  
In the classic shape of tastevins from this period, this one has the pleasing particularity of being inscribed with the name of its owner. In block capital letters, the letter P is marked. This information should make it possible to determine its origin and perhaps even the wine produced.

The worn patina that has given it its bright shine reveals a few slight handling marks (after all, it is still a working tool). A good, intriguing object, also useful for origin research!
