Vintage JIF solid silver pencil leads holder, hallmarked x3, works, 0.5 mm

  

Vintage mechanical pencil by JIF, made in France, bearing the inscriptions “Made in France - Mecan brevetés”. Very beautiful vintage model in solid silver with visible hallmarks (see photos). Material: hallmarked solid silver (probably 80%). Very attractive Art Deco / modernist guilloché decoration.

Good overall condition for its age, with light old patina and normal signs of use. The hallmarks and engravings are under the clip cap. An elegant, high-quality item, ideal for collectors of antique writing instruments or lovers of French vintage objects.
