Massive signet ring George VI in vintage silver from 1938 US size 9, UK Q. In excellent condition, may benefit from additional cleaning, but the ring has been cleaned by a professional. The ring had a golden hue originally, but due to age, the golden tone has faded. Nevertheless, it has a beautiful silver hue.

George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur George; December 14, 1895 - February 6, 1952) was King of the United Kingdom of the British Commonwealth from December 11, 1936, until his death on February 6, 1952. He was also the last Emperor of India from 1936 until the British Raj was dissolved in August 1947, and the first Head of the Commonwealth following the London Declaration. The future George VI was born during the reign of his great-grandmother Victoria. He was named Albert at birth after his grandfather Albert, Prince Consort, and was known as "Bertie" by his family and close friends. His father ascended the throne as George V.
