Antique rosary in mother-of-pearl and solid silver filigree with gilded Christ (vermeil)

  

All my items are either antique or second-hand objects, more or less recent. As such, they bear marks of time and use, which I try to indicate as best as I can by including multiple photos and describing the item. I therefore ask you to read the description carefully and look at the photos, which are part of the description of the items. Antique rosary made of low-grade solid silver filigree (no hallmark but tested with a touchstone); the Christ on the cross is gilded (vermeil).

The beads are made of mother-of-pearl. This is probably a foreign work, likely from Spain, Malta, or Portugal. Beautiful finesse for this collectible piece! Length: approximately 38.1 cm.

Cross dimensions: approximately 5.8 x 3.9 cm. Diameter of the mother-of-pearl beads: approximately 0.5 cm (and 0.7 cm for the beads in the corollas). Total gross weight: approximately 22.75 grams.
