Antique beautiful cake or pie server in solid silver and vermeil in box

  

Beautiful antique cake or pie server, made of solid silver and vermeil, with its case. This lovely cake server in solid silver and vermeil, from the late 19th or early 20th century, is in very good condition with only minimal signs of aging. It features a Minerva first title hallmark (guaranteeing solid silver and vermeil) and a silversmith's mark. The vermeil gilding has been very well preserved, and the Art Nouveau style decoration is stunning.

The solid silver handle is adorned with a small medallion featuring the intertwined initials E and C. The original case is also well preserved, with some minor signs of wear.
