Old and authentic Afghan ring from the early 20th century in solid silver: see the 925 hallmark (photos). This hallmark indicates solid silver jewelry, meaning it is composed of 92.5% pure silver. It is adorned with an oval carnelian stone with an intaglio depicting a scorpion. The setting is decorated with 10 small claws that hold the stone. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with beautiful arabesques.
